Dangers of texting while walking...

Image
I thought my neighbor's doormat was odd because any dirt would be gone by the time someone walked the distance from the front door. Then I realized, I'm on the 3rd floor. This person is probably crazy and I almost tried to unlocked a stranger's door. - The dangers of texting while walking!

Busy times

Hi family, I will try to recap my happenings soon. Right now its insane at work and I'm trying to iron out my weekend plans. This weekend is Scooter Insanity which starts Thursday night. I'm stoked! I will not be taking part in EVERYTHING but will be taking part off and on through out the weekend. Thursday's kick-off is a party & fashion show, starring my buddy Chris Jone's " Like A Rockstar " clothing. Should be a blast!!! Supposedly there will be hairstylist at the event that will do up my hair and I can get photos taken on my bike. I wish or hope some of the cycles will be at this scooter event and maybe I can get my photo on some other cool bikes. My friend Ingo, Annamarie and Selena are definitely going so I'm thinking the ratio of girls to guys will be more equal at this fashion event than the typical scooter gatherings which are male heavy. Friday after work, the scooter guys, which includes some of the Emerald City Soul Club DJs w

Mods Vs Rockers Scooter Rally

Image
Wow, what a busy last couple weekends. Before I left for PA, my favorite scooter/motorcycle rally took place. Unfortunately the Mods VS Rockers Rally was the same day as my flight to PHL so I could only do the 1st leg of the adventure. There was well over a hundred bikes. At least 150. It was crazy fun! Here is us leaving the meet up point. I cruise into frame at 53 seconds, in the red leather jacket. There were about triple the amount of bikes than last year. Since there was so many bikes, it felt like the rally took much longer. By the time we reached the Cretin Motorcycle clubhouse I had to run errands and get packing for PA trip so I missed out on the second part of the adventure and the evening shenangins. Here was a video someone capture of part of the 2nd part of the ride just to give you an idea how we cruise. Just looking on youtube I found more video of us. I honked my horn when people, especially kids wave to us. I have a cute little beeping horn. Beep, beep a

Should be in bed

1st day had me tired from red-eye so I went to bed at a normal east coat time. Time change has me all screwed up. Laying in "Princess Central" (Aka Marissa's room) at 2:30 am EST and I need to be up at 8. Eek.

The PA trip is going well so far. Great weather, got a chance to see a lot of family the last three days and even ran into Faith and her little crew 2 days earlier than planned when they stopped by Uncle David & Aunt Monica's. Its great they live up the street 2 houses. I love it! It was good to get a chance to catch up with her and hold 6 week old Beatrice several times. Great dinner party Sunday night with the Galoopers. Got to see Marissa get on her bus yesterday. She read me an entire book all by herself and I taught her how to put a ponytail in my hair. She's a great age to scratch my back and play with my hair. :) I took the crew out to dinner last night. Jake and Marissa were so well behaved. Today I hit downtown with mom, Jenna, Cheryl and Kaitlyn. We went to a really cool mosaic gallery/garden on South Street. Then we went to one of my favorite low-key restaurant Honey's Sit and Eat in Northern Liberties. Afterwards, I swung by my Uncle Dave's to see how
