Some favors are stranger than others

Image
Last night I was asked to sit in a room in front of the mic and make sex sounds playing off the male voice & music I had to listen to. It was weird and I'm getting over a cold so I doubt my vocals will end up in the clip. I think I sounded like a cat in pain. Ha! No it's not for a porn or some shady person asking me to do such a thing. Request came from a well respected crew of people. I can't say much more about their project but it was odd. Weirdest favor I was ever asked.

Another romantic sunset while working late @WD

At least I'm with good company while we crank away at getting projects out the door.

8:36 Prepping figs for "Fig & Lemon Chicken" dinner Originally uploaded by ::: a i m e e ::: I know I'm slacking again!!! Dinner is in the over so I have time to write. I like baking more than cooking on the stovetop because I can multi-task. Ok update... Loving the scooter. Was featured in the local paper's online music section (check out photos below by Matt Hickey) Saw two reunion shows of two bands I love last week. We had a company outing to a Mariners game BUT a quarter of the office, including me, was stuck working. By the time I left the office, the game was running major overtime into a 13th inning so I decided to meet everyone in the suite. Unfortunately the room was already cleaned up with no food but I managed to split the last beer with a co-worker. After the Mariners won, we went to a nearby bar to wish our one friend/former co-worker Janelle a farewell. She was starting her roadtrip back to MN the next day. So it really sucked my crew at work missed

We had off on a friday a few months back and decided our team at WONGDOODY should do something fun so we went kayaking on South Lake Union. Great day out on the water. We had lunch afterwards at Aqua Verde. I had yam soft tacos which were AMAZING. Diced up with amazing flavor. Check out my manager Dave's photos.... Oh and we also had a Creative Services BBQ which is part of the office. Its baby season at wongdoody. Several coworkers had babies and two more are on maternity leave. Below is 1. the McCann crew, 2. Eric's wife Christina and son Dexter, 3. Jason Hall & his little girl, 4. group shot, 5. Jo Jo and Eric, 6. Tanya's husband Mark, baby Adelle and Dave with little Skylar

Just a quick check in. I should be asleep! Check out below. I finally posted my "Mini-tour adventure" 2 weekends ago was motorcycle class, 1 week ago was my mini-tour so this past I stayed local and laid low. Friday and Saturday night I had two farewell parties to go to for two coworkers of mine that were laid off and decided to move. Sunday I spent a few hours riding my scooter and uploading photos at the coffee shop before having a fancy dinner at Taco Bell with my buddy Paco. It was such a nice evening we decided to go up in the Space Needle. I have a annual pass since they had a special anniversary rate $35 for the year when I think its around $17 or $22 to get up there! So now I can go up randomly when me and a friend are bored. This week has been busy. Last night was another farewell gathering. Another co-worker is leaving BUT transferring to the WONGDOODY Los Angeles office. My team worked until 8 tonight and then I used zipcar to go to a friend's house to pick up

My mini-tour with the Dead Weather...and Ryan 08.19.09-08.23.09

Whenever Ryan comes to the Northwest, I try my best to meet up with him. Im SOOOO LUCKY that he has worked for some of my favorite musicians...Beck, Sigur Ros, Arcade Fire, Jack White's Racontuers and now Jack's new band the Dead Weather. Jack IS my favorite guitarist. Though he mostly plays drums in his most recent band, the sound is bluesy, dark and is full of attitude and sexiness. Wednesday, August 19th, after dropping off my scooter, my "rock n roll band camp" begun. I met Ryan and fellow stage tech Chris for dinner at Ruth Chris Steak House. The boys insisted on treating me. We then ended up seeing a free show at the showbox. Thursday I met up with my friend and fellow Jack White fan, Chris Jones. Similar to how everyone calls Cathy Beagle by her full name, its the same for Chris Jones. I'm on of the few friends who doesn't always say his full name and he thinks its weird. The Seattle show was amazing and afterwards Jack White approached Chris, telling h
