It's the way I eat kit-kats. Deal with t.

Image
A friend made fun of how I eat kit-kata. I eat the chocolate off the sides and then the top, before eating the center wafers. I have been doing this since I was a kid and enjoy it much longer than all you people who just eat it up in 3 bites.

Touch the Rainbow

I wish my agency created this. Love it! Try it! Work hasn't been too crazy this week, then again, its only Wednesday so things could change. The weather is dreary. Glad friends are planning a weekend away soon. Something about a rental house, hot springs and hiking in Forks, WA area on the weekend of the 16th or 23rd.

3/25/2011 Discovering more about me

3/25/2011 I mess up on words and pronunciations A LOT but great at spelling. Spent my entire life being known as a talker, motor-mouth, and social butterfly, but recently discovered it's all tied to anxiety.

My heart is heavy

My heart is heavy for the people in Japan and our world. Mother Nature is not happy.   Paul, a guy I know here in Seattle was stuck at an air force base in Japan right after the earthquake. He is one of the owners of The Unicorn, the bar I frequent, that my friend Adam co-owns with him. He shared this article that was written by another passenger on the same flight as him. That cat the person writes about was quite a star, especially when leaving the airbase in one piece.  http://ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-571649 Its nice to know things were managed well and the people were taken care of during such a crazy time. I know another guy who was traveling with his sister, visiting family and was in the subway when the earthquake happened. Then experienced all the aftershocks. Scary!!!! As far as I know, they are finally on a plane out of there. A colleague has relatives over there and though most are safe, people in certain city are running out of food. The supply and demand is not as high

working out

I'm a big fan of the elliptical . Especially if it has a jack to listen to a tv nearby. Time can fly by. I don't recommend the stationary bike . It makes your butt cheeks hurt the next day. That's it.

Rattlesnake Ridge

Image
Rattlesnake Ridge a photo by ::: a i m e e ::: on Flickr. Fat Mouth Wolf Pack headed out into the woods again. This time, to Rattlesnake Ridge, out past North Bend. We met for brunch at Cafe Presse (in my neighborhood) Started hike at 12. 1.8 miles should have taken about 45 minutes. Due to snow, it took us about an hour and 15 minutes. When we got to the top, we enjoyed drinking water and snacking on Fritos. There was a bunch of other hikers and dogs through out the adventure. At 1:35pm we left top and got down to bottom 2:30. Total roundtrip: 3.8miles Very snowy and some parts were slippery so we took small, heavy steps and made it up and down fine. We lunched at North Bend Bar and Grill afterwards. We are all coming up with wolf names. My wolf name is: Little Wolf (or if you wanna get fancy "Petit Loup," in french)

Making things really happen

I don’t believe in diets. I believe in balance and happiness. When life is busy, its easy to get distracted and lose focus. You know how one will say I’m going to go to the gym more, or I’m going to put aside more time to read. We can all say things but the actual doing can be the tough part. Whenever we set personal goals, we tend to break them. The primary reason is usually a lack of personal motivation. Health Month is an online platform designed by my inventive friend Buster, to help people stick to their g oals by turning it into a social game. A few examples: “limit Internet usage,” “eat more greens,” “limit fried food,” “read” and even "stretch."  You can also create your own. As a non-ritual person, its helping me develop habits, try new routines and basically find balance. Unlike list that may never get checked off, I have a week to accomplish my goals. There is a fee when you set more than 3 goals. I have a lifetime membership and can sponsor a friend fo
