Levittown in May

So I traveled red-eye to JFK airport Friday night. Arriving at 8am on a ho, humid morning. I took the airtrain to Jamaica station, then hopped on the LIRR (Long island rail road) to Penn Station. Then, hopped a train on NJ transit down to Hamilton Station where my folk picked me up. I was home in Levittown by 11:30 am. I was too wired to sleep...just to shower and play with my niece and nephew. I passed out that night on the sofa. Dina Originally uploaded by Lindsey Spirit . I saw Dina Martina with some friends last night. Funny lady that sadly reminded me of a relative (well an exaggeration of a relative) I think it was the mullet haircut.

That was a lucky day.

He is singing to me of course! :) Originally uploaded by ::: a i m e e ::: . A couple months ago I was bumbed because the Damien Rice show in Seattle sold out in one day. He is one of my favorite singers right now. His songs really hit home and give me goosebumps. On the day of the show, just by chance I checked Ticketmaster and to my luck - more tickets became available!!!!! My friend Katie and I snagged 3rd row CENTER seats!!!! Benaroya Hall has amazing acoustics so it was a beautiful concert. He had many stories to tell which I personally loved. I hate when a band takes the stage, says hello, plays music, then says goodnight. You really got a taste of his personality with the jokes and stories he told about his songs. I think half the stories were probably a bunch of bull and that a real personal story lies underneath but either way he was entertaining.
