dock rock Originally uploaded by joshc West Beach Resort has become a tradition to some of my Seattle friends. This was my 1st year and I'm very happy they invited me to come along. This where Josh, Carinna, Megan, Samantha, April, Asa, Jim, Brett, Lucy and I are went for the weekend. Bummed the Pixels, Scottie and a bunch of others couldn't join us. Pixels were in Los Angeles because Andy had to go down there for work. Ingo followed him for the sunshine. I stayed in cottage #18 but we also had the Farmhouse . Plenty of space. I didn't take enough photos BUT was with two really good photographers and a house-full of 8:36ers who take a lot of photos. When I walk across the way to the other house, a HUGE fat cat came up and walked with me. I named him "Fatty" right on the spot. When I went inside, he went around back on to the porch, and was watching us from the sliding doors. Too funny. Friday night we went out to dinner in the VERY LITTLE town then retired to th

This is from a Portland band called Menomena (Men-om-ena). I love their album and love this creative video they made by simply walking the streets and a private courtyard singing this song in Paris. Very cool!

1/11 snowfall

1/11 snowfall Originally uploaded by ::: a i m e e ::: It snowed last night. My neighborhood looked beautiful. Bowling was cancelled so I met up with other bowlers at a nearby bar to where we watched the snow fall and buses struggle up the hill. Snow watching, snow fights and hot toddy's are a great way to enjoy the snowfall. This morning it was all slush! A tad slippery but mostly just super wet and gross. I slipped last night when trying to throw a snowball. It was super funny at the moment. Good thing I'm short, therefore it isn't far to fall but today my hip hurts. Good times.

December was AMAZING

Screw presents, kids really love big boxes Originally uploaded by ::: a i m e e ::: The month of December was amazing. Full of good times and ending the month with being with family in PA. Jake and Marissa get cuter by the day. I really enjoyed my time home with the family. I love my folks new apartment. Its the perfect space for them and I look forward to them having their "magic" tree outside and a firepit. Its going to be really cozy and a great place to come home to. The one thing is hard is the fact that some family doesn't accept the fact that I love where I live and constantly hint around or question about moving back east. I love Seattle and not going anywhere. There is something therapeutic about seeing the mountains and the water, having the various smells in the air that are a lot fresher than any other city I have been in. I have to figure out a way for family to accept this and ways we can interact than just skyping. I love home and it will always be home

Annamarie (Cuz'n) and Chris Jones were suppose to be in the car but they were stuck in Denver due to airline/weather madness. Here is what went down on New Year's Eve morning....
