BE A SMART CONSUMER - STICK WITH BATHROOM HAND TOWELS!!!

Image
I use paper towels sparingly in the kitchen and bathroom because there are some things you need to wipe up that you don't want to end up in your washing machine. Reading this made me angry... lets waste more paper by placing Kleenex paper towels on your towel holder...errr. Posted from the Seattle Stranger paper... Kleenex Hand Towels: That Sound Is Trees Crying posted by BETHANY JEAN CLEMENT on THU, APR 29, 2010 at 8:30 AM Kleenex* would now like you to believe that you need to replace your bathroom hand towels with paper ones . AT HOME. Because your dirty, dirty hand towels are going to rub diseasey germs onto you! Please commence freaking out! The "Innovative dispenser delivers one towel at a time"—we're familiar with this paper-towel-delivery technology, actually. And it may be lodged on top of any existing bathroom towel rack, where it will "fit in seamlessly with any decor"—that is, making your bathroom at home 127 percent more like the one at a gas

Following friends blogs

I have several friends who also write blogs...much better than I! My favorite recent post is from Buster and Kellianne's site - Zero to Baby. Everyone has nicknames! Buster is MILTON, Kellianne is ESTHER and the baby is BABY AXELROD. I highly recommend reading the latest post linked below. Zero to Baby : This is a great post by Esther to her future son. After reading, if you click the cute header, it will take you to the most recent post. A few other friend blogs: Modern Natura l: Joby, one of my favorite people to spend time with in Seattle is the type of person who gets heavily focused on something and challenges himself. His passion for whatever it is - is exciting and inspiring. Aside from working 5 days a week, he is doing an apprenticeship learning old ways of survival and old trades like blacksmithing and making things at home. The blog follows his experience. Lover Mother: A blog by a Philadelphia friend. Lois is crazy creative and has fun projects with her kids and goo

Seattle Flash mob

I'm not a fan of the show Glee, but I'm proud to live in a city where fun stuff like this is secretly planned. This GLEE FLASH MOB happened in the heart of the city, 9 blocks from my apartment. I heard a few days prior that it was going to happen but was having fun on a bike ride instead. I like musical classics like Sound of Music but can't stand the show...its too cheesy for me. Here is when the same group put together a Michael Jackson Flash mob .

On the mend

Mission accomplished Originally uploaded by ::: a i m e e ::: I got a nasty cold and it knocked me out for the majority of the weekend. After work Friday, I went straight to bed and woke up at 8 with a 100.3 temperature. I was in bed until about 4 pm Saturday and finally ventured out for fresh air. Had some ice cream and walked home in the rain. I spent most of the the next 24 hours in bed and finally left the house Sunday around 5 to ride my scooter, interact with other humans and get a bite to eat. I'm done with being sick! I'm pissed my weekend was spent being sick. Lets just hope I feel even better tomorrow. Screw it, I will feel better tomorrow!

I want to rewind to last weekend or the weekend before

8:36 Just took temp. Home with fever and watching Blow. Wishing someone would bring me food. :( This sucks. Originally uploaded by ::: a i m e e ::: Its Friday night and I'm in bed. My stomach had been feeling sore all week and yesterday I started feeling achy. By the time this afternoon rolled around, I was having hot and cold chills. I left work on time and was in bed by 6. I slept and woke up to a fever of 100.3, This is not how I wanted to start my weekend. I REALLY hope tomorrow is a new day and this sickness is gone!
