Look, tiny people.
When I get a chance, I will recap on my birthday and how healthmonth (healthmonth.com) is going. But I'm so busy.
Tonight I FINALLY got to do laundry since we returned from Orcas. Before I threw a load in, I shot over to see the new art exhibit at vermillion. The lady is good! Not only did she do the interesting sculptures with little people. I loved her paintings! She does these paintings using gouache. I never heard of it but was told Andrew Wyatt uses this chalky material and that makes sense since I was also really drawn to his work.
Plans for the next 48 hours go like this:
Tomorrow:
Dancing on a Valentine Leukemia Fundraiser– Local bands play Depeche Mode songs at the Crocodile (in my old neighborhood)
Saturday
9am Yoga
10am Brunch with Wongdoody Capitol Hill gals (thats our neighborhood)
12 Check out a small craft show that a friend is selling stuff in.
3 bang trim in ballard (Mom, that's the little fisherman town - with the "Locks"
4 drinks & snacks with April (who lives in Ballard)
7pm Artshow at Joby's tattoo shop down in Georgetown. Not his work. A gal I know through him and Brandon is showing work there.
10pm A band I love from the 90's is playing a venue near my apartment so I need to make my way back there.
SEE BUSY!! But all amazing, fun times and a bang trim which makes me happy!!!!
Sunday: Brunch is up in the air now that Del Rey is closed. May go to the aquarium or zoo whether depending. A few of us have groupons to both.
