Weekends are flying by!!!!
Sorry for the slowness in post. I'm trying to play catch up.
Well it looks like spring is finally here or maybe we jumped straight into summer, missing the spring season?
Anyway 2 WEEKENDS AGO (I have been too busy to post this blog)...my weekend was busy but fun. Friday I had a low-key night at home. Saturday went for a motorcycle ride with my friend Wayne to run a few errands and get my friend Jessica a birthday gift. We cruised south of Seattle and then over to West Seattle along Alki Beach. You could smell the ocean and the views were outstanding.
That night I went to my friend Jessica's 30's Birthday party. It had a 1930's Prohibition theme where for the beginning of the party they played movies with synchronized swimming (oh it reminded me of the galoopers!!) and Eric, Jess's boyfriend DJ'd old classic tunes from the 1920's to 1940's. A few roller derby gals performed burlesque for Jess and then it turned into a dance party. Sooooo much fun! I headed home around 3am.
Sunday I volunteered for Noise for the Needy, a local group that puts on concerts to raise funds for local charities. It was a long day and late night but only happens once a year so it was worth it. More to come on what I have been up to the last FEW weeks.
