My heart is heavy

My heart is heavy for the people in Japan and our world. Mother Nature is not happy.  Paul, a guy I know here in Seattle was stuck at an air force base in Japan right after the earthquake. He is one of the owners of The Unicorn, the bar I frequent, that my friend Adam co-owns with him. He shared this article that was written by another passenger on the same flight as him. That cat the person writes about was quite a star, especially when leaving the airbase in one piece. http://ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-571649

Its nice to know things were managed well and the people were taken care of during such a crazy time. I know another guy who was traveling with his sister, visiting family and was in the subway when the earthquake happened. Then experienced all the aftershocks. Scary!!!! As far as I know, they are finally on a plane out of there.

A colleague has relatives over there and though most are safe, people in certain city are running out of food. The supply and demand is not as high as the U.S. My thoughts are with the entire world right now, hoping we can have some peaceful moments before another natural tragedy.
