Colorado bound

I'm leaving work a little after 4 today to head to the airport with my friend Hema, the lady of Leisure.
(That's what some call her because she works for the school district and has off for the entire summer. She loves to brag on facebook what the lady of leisure is doing on a relaxing summer day.)

We are flying into Denver tonight. I'm really looking forward to our 2-hr drive tomorrow morning to Vail to start the wedding celebrations for Katie and Eric.

Itinerary as planned:
Thursday:
• Scenic drive to Vail
• Brunch with bachelorette party
• Afternoon @Spa – getting the rain forrest massage – a massage that incportates multiple shower heads into the treatment.
• Dinner and drinks with everyone at a pizza place in the village

Friday:
• Morning: maybe a short hike or something outdoors
• Setting up dinner part of celebration
• Taking a gondola up up to the top of Vail mountain for Katie and Eric's sunset wedding

Saturday: plans still in the works

Hoping to spend a lot of time poolside.
I wanna try to get outdoors, maybe on a short hike.

Just found out work may need me to do some research for a possible future client that happens to be in Vail so they are going to give me a flip camera to shoot stuff. So I might get to write off some gas mileage if I'm checking out a few things for them.

Its been a while since I posted here. May was an insanely busy but AMAZING. There was the Highline High School fundraiser dinner. I never recalled my high school having fundraisers and since I don't have kids, I told Carinna I would join her for her school's fundraiser auction/dinner. It was fun, I won a bottle of nice wine and 3 of us bid on the "Taste of Highline dinner" where several moms and staff would make meals passed down from their families. We were able to invite up to 10 friends. There was Italian, Somalian, Soul, Mexican, and Hawaiian. There may have been another but I forget. It was sooooo yummy and was hosted at a house that was on Lake Burien. They told us there may be a boat involved. The boat turned out to be a battery operated dock that quietly moved in the water. Summer came and went

Where did the summer go and what did I do. SOOOOO much. It was a great summer. I only ended up camping once but it was a good one. I went to PARIS! Which was gorgeous, romantic, rich in foods and simply breathtaking.  I wish I had time to post highlights of my summer but I can only suggest to check out all my photos since May on Flickr. It was a good summer in Seattle.
