Is 5pm to early to be in costume? Nope.

Hi all,
Nothing exciting happening this week since my free time has been spent unpacking however Saturday a few friends and I went rollerskating. A local promotion company that my friend Scottie (the blondie in the silver spandex) had a listening skate party to a band's new album.

The skating rink had a bar and a bowling alley so we ended up spending most the evening there up in the suburbs. After skating and bowling, we went to get the best fried chicken in Seattle. Ezell's has two locations and one was right near the skating rink. I just so happen to be wearing my chicken hat since the skate party had a costume contest. My friend Jo, in the silver onesie and I were runners up in the costume contest and won the new CD.




I learned via this video that I skate like a 5-year old when its reverse skate. You "think" skating in the opposite direction would be easy but its awkward.

Its been a while since I posted here. May was an insanely busy but AMAZING. There was the Highline High School fundraiser dinner. I never recalled my high school having fundraisers and since I don't have kids, I told Carinna I would join her for her school's fundraiser auction/dinner. It was fun, I won a bottle of nice wine and 3 of us bid on the "Taste of Highline dinner" where several moms and staff would make meals passed down from their families. We were able to invite up to 10 friends. There was Italian, Somalian, Soul, Mexican, and Hawaiian. There may have been another but I forget. It was sooooo yummy and was hosted at a house that was on Lake Burien. They told us there may be a boat involved. The boat turned out to be a battery operated dock that quietly moved in the water. Summer came and went

Where did the summer go and what did I do. SOOOOO much. It was a great summer. I only ended up camping once but it was a good one. I went to PARIS! Which was gorgeous, romantic, rich in foods and simply breathtaking.  I wish I had time to post highlights of my summer but I can only suggest to check out all my photos since May on Flickr. It was a good summer in Seattle.
