Canlis is taking a cue from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. The Seattle restaurant is celebrating its 60th birthday on December 11th. The mark the occasion, the grandsons of the original founder are taking the idea of Willy Wonka's golden ticket and putting a high tech spin to it. "Everybody would like to find a golden ticket and win something" says Brain Canlis. He along with his brother Mark Canlis are the third generation owners of Canlis. They call it a "foodie's treasure hunt". Every day until December 11th, the brothers are hiding a specially marked Canlis menu somewhere in Seattle.
