Early Christmas present

Jill Bliss's line-art drawings inspire me. Something draws me to her style and color choices in her artwork.

Its always great to see an artist capture a certain style. If you have ever seen the notebook I always have with me to jot down a million things, its one of the journals she had published. Her stuff is sold on Amazon and at Barnes and Nobles.

My friend Jessica (Jo Jo) and I went down to Portland for a weekend and one morning a craft fair was taking place at the bottom of our hotel. Coincidently Jill Bliss was there and I was happy to meet the artist I discovered several years ago. She was sweet.

I really want this posters of hers and will grab the frame from Ikea. I could buy it myself but figured it would be more sentimental if someone got it for me and well, I never need much of anything when it comes to gifts.

She has a flickr site where you can follow her latest projects and a website with an online store.

Another item I want for christmas is a gift card to sockdreams.com. They are in portland and offer free shipping. I LOVE their knee socks and stockings!!!!! http://www.sockdreams.com/products/gift-cards/

I also want a membership to the Seattle Art Museum (SAM) because I go there at least 5 times a year.

I couldn't add that stuff to my ongoing amazon list: http://amzn.com/w/38P0V8AW6BEYF

Now the big question is.....what do YOU want?
