One of my closest friends in Seattle is hitting the road tomorrow morning for a roadtrip with her boyfriend Eric and their dog, Floyd.

They are taking a huge roadtrip on their way to their new home in Chicago. Eric is going to gradutate school through the Navy and after 15 months on leave, him and Katie will finally be back together in the Windy City.

Saturday night we had a farewell party for Katie and Eric. I forgot I had my camera until the very end so I didn't get a photo of most the guest. Click on the photo to see more images from the silly night.

Its been a while since I posted here. May was an insanely busy but AMAZING. There was the Highline High School fundraiser dinner. I never recalled my high school having fundraisers and since I don't have kids, I told Carinna I would join her for her school's fundraiser auction/dinner. It was fun, I won a bottle of nice wine and 3 of us bid on the "Taste of Highline dinner" where several moms and staff would make meals passed down from their families. We were able to invite up to 10 friends. There was Italian, Somalian, Soul, Mexican, and Hawaiian. There may have been another but I forget. It was sooooo yummy and was hosted at a house that was on Lake Burien. They told us there may be a boat involved. The boat turned out to be a battery operated dock that quietly moved in the water. Summer came and went

Where did the summer go and what did I do. SOOOOO much. It was a great summer. I only ended up camping once but it was a good one. I went to PARIS! Which was gorgeous, romantic, rich in foods and simply breathtaking.  I wish I had time to post highlights of my summer but I can only suggest to check out all my photos since May on Flickr. It was a good summer in Seattle.
